Updated · KW Plastic Bottle packaging selection guide
How airless packaging works
Many airless bottles use a rising piston to move product toward the pump as it is dispensed. Other mechanisms exist, so confirm the construction of the exact model rather than relying on the term “airless” alone. The complete system includes the container, pump, product-contact components and filling procedure.
Airless packaging can reduce the formula’s exposure to incoming air during dispensing. It does not, by itself, establish formula compatibility, shelf life, preservative requirements or a guaranteed evacuation rate. These need to be assessed for your product and selected pack.
Compare the airless bottle formats in our range
| Format | Listed capacities | Confirm with the quotation |
|---|---|---|
| Airless pump bottle | 15 / 30 / 50 ml | Exact dimensions, pump output, components and filling instructions |
| Refillable airless | 30 / 50 ml | Replaceable component, assembly process and refill availability |
| Vacuum serum bottle | 15 / 30 ml | Formula suitability, pump output and complete material specification |
What to test with your formula
Do not assume that every formula, viscosity or filling line will work with every airless pack. Share the information needed to select samples and agree which tests your team will perform before production approval.
Prepare an airless packaging inquiry
Include the product type, target capacity, quantity per size, color, decoration, destination and launch timing. Request the component drawing, output per stroke, material list, available samples and recommended filling procedure for the exact model.
Ask for MOQ, sample costs, decoration costs and lead time to be stated in the quote. If a refill system is required, ask which parts are supplied separately and how future refill orders will be specified. Compare the airless bottle range or send a sample request.
